Glass without borders. Dolnośląskie Warsztaty i Sympozjum Szkła Artystycznego i Designu
Glass without borders. Dolnośląskie Warsztaty i Sympozjum Szkła Artystycznego i Designu
O festiwalu
„Glass without borders” jest też formą promocji tzw.

Wideorelacje z e-Glass Festival. Glass without borders. Dolnośląskie Warsztaty i Sympozjum Szkła Artystycznego i Designu 2024:
Glass without borders. Lower Silesian Art Glass and Design Workshops and Symposium
About festival
The purpose of the event is to create original works of art and design by outstanding specialists and glassmakers, as well as to facilitate the exchange of experiences among artists, glass masters, and technologists from Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, South Korea, and the United States. The meetings also serve as a platform for presenting the latest ecological technologies in artistic glass. The culmination of the entire project will be an exhibition of the works created during the workshops, with its opening planned for the end of 2024 at the Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Góra.
Our shows and workshops will showcase the versatile possibilities of glass, its technological, scientific, and economic significance. „Glass without borders” also promotes the so-called „cultural gold” of Lower Silesia, with its unique national glassmaking trail and extremely rich artistic tradition.
In addition to artistic and educational activities, the festival also includes integrative actions, such as a bike ride for participants and festival guests on old bicycles from the former Karlsthal glassworks (Orle Tourist Station in Szklarska Poręba – Jakuszyce) to the former Josef Riedel glassworks in Izerka, Czech Republic.
